Our Approach to Electrolytes:

Our Story

All Ready/Go® products are about clean hydration. Why are we constantly providing the workers of America garbage hydration? Products that contain sucralose, dyes, and artificial junk are just that, junk.

At Nextteq® we believe one should not be required to look at the ingredients in their hydration products. Chemicals like sucralose, dextrose, dyes and artificial anything are not acceptable and will NEVER be in our products.

Why Is Staying Hydrated Important?

Staying hydrated is essential for cognitive function, focus, and alertness.  Even mild dehydration can impair memory and concentration. Proper hydration helps regulate body temperature, prevents fatigue, and supports physical performance. Drink water consistently to stay sharp and healthy.

Electrolyte Myth - Hydrate with Sport Drinks

Sport drinks shouldn't be the go-to beverage all day. Just like anything, too many electrolytes can be unhealthy. Electrolytes are needed on hot days or during intense work with heavy sweating.

Damage from too much electrolytes:

Excess sodium (hypernatremia) can cause dizziness, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Excess potassium (hyperkalemia) can impact your kidney function and cause hear arrhythmia, nausea, and an irregular pulse.

Excess calcium (hypercalcemia) can lead to fatigue, lethargy, seizures, and bone and joint pain.

Excess magnesium can cause muscle weakness, nausea, dizziness, confusion, and heart arrhythmia, and at worst - muscular and neurological damage.

ALERT: CHECK YOUR HYDRATION STICKS!

FDA NEWS - April 22, 2025

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA or US FDA), a federal agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, will "phase out all petroleum-based synthetic dyes from the nation's food supply" by the end of 2026.  This includes Red 40, Yellow  5, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Blue 2, and Green 3

It is about time!

Check your hydration sticks. High probability they contain one or more of these dyes. These dyes are associated with cancer, allergic reactions, increased inflammation and disruption of the immune system. They have been banned in several countries for decades due to association with health risks and behavioral issues in children. It's about time we protect our workers!

Oh, by the way, our coloring is made from vegetables. Yep, the good stuff your mother told you to eat.

Per OSHA guidelines - What does hydration look like for one hour?

According to OSHA, workers need to frequently drink small amounts of water before they become thirsty to maintain good hydration. During moderate activity, in moderately hot conditions, workers should drink about 1 cup every 15 to 20 minutes. This is a 16oz water bottle every 30 min.

16oz = ½ quart.

1 hour = (2) 16oz water bottles = 1 qt.
